Today is what I would call a perfect winter day .Crisp air ,brilliant sunshine and no wind . Hung up two new feeders this morning and the chickadees are coming in droves .Finally said goodbye to the cheap plastic feeders that break and allow the rain to pouyr in and spoil the seed. And these new ones are supposedly squirrel proof . I 'll have to see that to believe it ! But I can't leave my little squirrel buddy out so I nailed a wide can to the deck rail and he'll get his treats there. I also made a little stew this morning and it smells pretty darn good.
The Strait looks very very cold today. No thoughts of jumping in for sure. But oh how wonderful it is to look out the window and see the waves and the gorgeous shade of blue. A nice day to be home ! The Muse
