It's as if the rain has cleansed the leaves and brought out their true hues. As I peer from the windows I see beauty in all four directions . The reds,oranges,yellows.browns and greens blend as a carpet .So pretty!
I have just read good news of improved health for a dear special family and it is definitely a time to rejoice and thank God. So many others I have lifted up to Our Great for strength .comfort and healing.
Such a quiet day compared to the autumn storm of yesterday on the Strait. Things change so quickly . Life changes so quickly. And the crunch comes as to how we are able to eventually come to a place of acceptance . Then peace will begin to flow slowly and soften the angst and once again allow our soul to whisper , " My heart will go on ".

Zumba Zumba!!!
The muse attended her first Zumba class last evening just to see what all the fuss is about this new keep fit fad. Armed with a bottle of H2O off I went to see if I could get my heart rate up in the clouds and hopefully assist with a good workout that would have a favourable impact on my clorestral levels. Well now I'm here to tell you , a definite workout you get ! But with the' get down and shake your booty and every other part of your body ' music it seems more like fun than an exasperating fitness routine. And what's really great is everyone doesn't have to do what everyone else is doing .Just enjoy the music and MOVE IT. If a single step comes more easily or naturally than a double step ,go for it. Noone watches or even cares. And stop as many times as you wish for a drink . Each one knows their own body and governs themselves accordingly .As long as you're moving ,you're in the zumba groove. I had a good time and plan to go back and pay as you go is a great thing moneywise. I will take a towel with me next week just to help absorb the' workin up a sweat' and wear shorts instead of capris along with a sleeveless top as the body really heats up fast.Classes are Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Pugwash Legion if you get an urge to ZUMBA!!!!!!

What a person Will Do to Get Rid of Trash!
There's just something really really wrong with this picture: Here I am at 6:30 am( in my pink robe and red flip-flops -where are all the single men when you're dressed so snazzy?),dragging 4 big bagfulls of garbage down from the back deck and heaving them up onto the back of my car (won't fit in the trunk) where they're held by the spoiler ,glomming Oreo and putting him in the car,squirting a gallon of washer fluid on the windshield to get rid of the frost and driving down the trail doing 5 miles an hour to fire the garbage off at the appointed spot for pick-up. And that's modern living ?????????? If it wasn't for this gorgeous sunrise I am being privy to as I type my frustration I just might bubble up and overheat . Happy day folks !

Who Says Fun Has To Cost !
Cost of a pumpkin three to four dollars. Ten gals having a blast carving the pumpkins : PRICELESS !!!!
Many of us hadn't carved a jack o'lantern for eons and had forgotten how slimy that goop is that you handscoop out of the shell. Then there's the picking the seeds out of the slimy goop to put on the roasting tray for the oven. Dr. Oz says that pumpkin seeds are a belly blaster. We did four trays full. Thankfully there were no injuries ,no stitches required .And what a variety of pumpkin faces. If anyone has facebook you will most likely see them all there glowing on the coffeetable . Ten glowing faces in the dark. It was indeed alot of fun playing together just like kids ,wanting to see what everyone else was doing and some trying to hide their masterpieces so others wouldn't copy. What a bunch !!! A great way to pass an autumn evening .

A Day to Give Thanks
Hopefully we all remember to say a little thank you every day for the many blessed moments we are given but isn't it wonderful to have a special day set aside to gather with family and friends and do it in fine style with lots of delicious food. I'm baking a whole squash today which is
something I've never done before so may the force be with me! And I'm trying a dressing you can make in the microwave since my oven is pretty small and won't hold everything. I love Thanksgiving Day because there's no gifts ,just a time to look into the faces of our loved ones and see their uniqueness and goodness and feel the joy and gratitude in our hearts for each and everyone of them . And to feel the presence of those we love so dearly who have gone on to our Heavenly Home before us . To light a candle of love and remembrance for all departed and for the love that surrounds us in the presen
A time to thank the earth for all that it gives us .Thanks for the bounty of harvest .The crisp ,fresh clean air .The bubbling streams and brooks .The gifts from the oceans .
As I was reading a magazine yesterday it featured several people sharing what they were most thankful for and my heart was warmed to read that no one was thankful for their stuff. Fancy big cars ,gorgeous big houses ,boats or motorcycles never even registered on the thankgiving scale.But what did was family,loyal friends ,illnesses that made a person take stock of what `s really important in life , a beautiful view form a window, and pets to love. Do you think it could be possible that we`re finally getting it and realizing that the big paying job,the toys, the designer clothes, the trips round the world, the sparkling diamonds, the fifteen room homes,the gas guzzling vehicles don`t mean squat when it comes to health ,the love of family and friends,fellowship,spirituality,being able to help and give to others , and community.
I am thankful today especially for a woodshed with wood ,a lovely day, watching my beloved daughter sweep the floor before the rest of the family arrives,the smell of the turkey roasting in the oven,those I call friends ,being able to look out at the water every day ,the birds that are congregating at the feeders, and having a Heavenly Father to help me every day .
This is the day that the Lord hath made ; Rejoice and be glad !
