Another enjoyable shopping day with the residents of East Cumberland Lodge. Louise ,my very good friend living at ECL and I were shopping partners and we had a lovely time browsing and buying. We get on so well and think alike in so many ways. Louise inspires me tremendously and I am always the better for having been in her presence. Two of the other ladies and myself did a wee bit of singing at the back of the bus as we rolled along the highway and we really belted out "Amazing Grace." I missed my walk round the track with my two strolling buddies but I did my workout at the mall.
So chilly today and I didn't take a jacket. Just hate to give in to colder temperatures and the thoughts of winter.But I see where Northern NB has a skiff if the white stuff overnight so I must bite the bullet and dig out a warm coat.
Had to stop at the vet's to pick up worm and flea meds for my two boys and though Oreo is a piece of cake when it comes to taking administering the pills and liquid ,CoCo is terrible and I have the scratches on my arm to prove it this evening. Met up with a friend at the vet's whose cat has just been diagnosed with diabetes and he will have to give Charlie insulin shots every day. Poor Terry and Charlie !
The wind has sure picked up here on the beach the past few hours . I guess I'll keep the fire going through the night. Cindy Day says we are going to have a colder weekend so it looks like I had better start piling some wood inside.
It's just about midnight so the time has come to bid this wonderful day adieu and look forward to all the many possibilities of tomorrow . The Muse
