It's been more than a week since I last blogged ! I can hardly believe it. But then again the country muse did go to the city for 4 days and the last thing on my mind was going on-line. Spring Garden Road continually called my name and the book ,music ,art and vintage stores beckoned me in to browse for hours. Spending an afternoon with a very special friend from Adam's IWK days was so nice and it was a thrill for me to present her with my book as I have three of hers. I tried out every new little cafe and Amy and I dined at Jane's on the Common which was awesome .The bench seats along the windows were even heated . Imagine that . Homemade biscuits started off our meal and it just got better and better .
It was great to hang out with Amy as she began her 4 week OJT at the Rehab Center . She's enjoying the walk each day and I was so happy tp see her arrive safely home tonight in the yukky weather. I came home on the bus on Wednesday and there was Oreo waiting for me at the bus stop . He crawled up on my shoulder and nestled down real close all the way back to the beach and he's never been off my lap since when I'm home.
It felt so good to come home and feel the warmth and coziness of the wood fire. I enjoy my city fixes but there's no place like home. The Muse
