Welcome Pumpkin Month

What a glorious day this has been starting with a delicious coffee and breakfast begal (with the works ) at the Chatterbox while my clothes were washing at the laundromat .An afternoon down on the beach with Eleanor,Deb,Valerie and the boys was awesome as was the water. Hard to get my head around spending an afternoon on the beach swimming on October 1.  But I'll gladly take it!

Only one more sleep before Rinny goes to his new home way far off to the city. What wonderful memories his presence has given me . Animals are indeed a blessing . I can't imagine my life without them.

Even had time to clean out my car too. had to get the dog hair out before I head off to pick up my company which are going to Whirligig's in Wallace to hear Acres and Acres a real great up and coming music group. I heard them featured on CBC and imagine I'm off to hear them in Wallace. I tell you our Sunrise Trail shore is certainly becoming known for catching great musical acts . There\s no way if one enjoys different kinds of music that anyone could say threre's nothing to go to around our local area.  I could be out every night of the wekk attending something if I had the stamina. We're a happening shore for sure.

What a great drying day for the wash. I just brought a big basket full and they smell so fresh. And I probably should be whipping out the lawnmower for another pass over the yard but nah, I'd rather sit down with the newspaper and do the puzzles. The grass will always be there .

You know I could have begged off and not bothered to meet up with the gals at the beach this pm .Sometimes it's pretty easy to think we must finish cleaning the windows,or scrubbing the floor or cleaning the car,but look at the special moments we miss out on by doing so. In the cold of winter I will be able to think back to the afternoon of swimming ,laughing, taking pics ,walking the beach and it will be such a warming memory . Cleaning will not bring me any warm memories at all!

We need to make ourselves available to grab onto any spontaneous moments we are offered. This is what adds spice to our lives and keeps the grumpies and gloomies away.       Cheers       The Muse
